PLAYFUL ACORN · FOR GROWN-UPS

Little by little, we grow.

Playful Acorn began with a kindergarten email, a parent wondering how to help, and a simple idea: turn a little daily practice into something to look forward to.

Meet Pip

Pip is our little acorn companion. A round with Pip has one small goal, room to try again, and a clear place to stop. There are no countdowns, streak penalties or leaderboards.

Starting small

Our first three games practice rhyming, letter names and the link between initial sounds and letters. As this project grows, we’ll use family feedback to improve the games and add new learning adventures.

Honest about learning

This is a parent-created practice resource, not a complete reading curriculum or school-endorsed assessment. The games are starting points for shared practice. A teacher’s advice and your child’s experience matter more than an in-game recap.
